Hard To Concentrate ? Hard to translate

One of my long-term plans is to translate RHCP songs into french.

Not just one more word for word Google translation.
Because I love english language and I love Anthony's writings.

RHCP lyrics are peppered ;) with play on words.
They are poetry...
The way they can be understood depends on each person, and even each particular person will discover different senses each different day he/she lives, depending on his/her mood.
That's why they are so 'hard to translate'...
But I'm bold enough to try.
There will be a part of me in these translations.
I also want them to be melodious.
And I want to share them.

Do you know if anybody else have already tried this before ?
