Flea The Marathon Man!

Flea started running after being inspired by ‘Born to Run’ by Christopher McDougall and realised he could do a run to help

raise funds for the music school he’d founded, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music, in Los Angeles. Flea started running but soon enlisted the help of a personal trainer and begin running the the hills of Malibu; he then started entering smaller races building up to longer runs. He ran the Buffalo Run (half marathon) on Catalina Island in January 2011. *

Update:

On March 2oth, Flea ran in the Honda L.A. Marathon to raise money for his music school, the Silverlake Conservatory of Music. He finished in just under 4 hours! 🙂
