Q Prime Mystery

Are RHCP no longer with long-term management company Q Prime?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have been with Q Prime, under the ultimate management of Peter Mensch and the New York City office, for decades. However, rumours are circulating that a bid to buy the management company by Ron Burkle has fallen through because the Chili Peppers are no longer part of Q Prime’s band roster:

Could word that Q Prime no longer reps Red Hot Chili Peppers scuttle a potential deal between the management company and billionaire supermarket magnate Ron Burkle?

Rumors ricocheting around the biz had the financier preparing to buy all or part of the management company.

Intriguingly, the band are not currently listed on Q Prime’s website for Peter Mensch himself or any of the listed offices (NYC, London and Nashville).

P.S. If you are wondering why the name Ron Burkle sounds familiar, it’s probably because RHCP played at the memorial for Burkle’s son, Andrew, earlier this year. It was the first public performance of John playing since he re-joined the band this current time (well, almost band as Chad Smith couldn’t join them due to other commitments).

About Squitherwitch

I've been a RHCP fan ever since I heard Under The Bridge way back in the mists of time. I brought BSSM and then their other albums but RHCP were just another band I listened to (I was a massive GNR fan at the time) but that changed once I heard Californication! I've been involved with the online RHCP scene since 2006, getting more heavily involved as time passed, and eventually the time was right to set up my own website dedicated to the band and thus, TheChiliSource was born. Since then I've also set up AnthonyKiedis.net along with various Twitter, Facebook & Tumblr pages connected to my websites and RHCP.
