More dates have been added (all in the US 🙁 ) to promote Flea’s forthcoming autobiography, Acid For The Children. Not all dates current have ticket information; I’m trying to find that out and will update when there’s more info.
NYC daytime book signing: I emailed Barnes and Noble and they replied with a link to the Facebook page they’ve set up for the event so I’ve added those details below.
LA Vista Theatre: This has now been removed from the publisher’s details EDIT: I’ve just had a lovely email back from them and there was a provisional booking made which wasn’t confirmed- guess it remained on the publisher’s list and got posted by mistake
• Books will be available at the cash registers starting at 9:00 AM the day of the signing.
• Books must be purchased day of the event. Buy online pick up in store ordering is suspended for all events.
• This is a wristbanded event. Wristbands will be provided exclusively with the purchase of Acid for the Children.
• Customers should maintain their receipts and be prepared to present them to a member of the event’s team upon request.
• Line will form outside of the front entrance.
• No posed photography
• Photos are allowed from the line.
• Personalization and the signing of memorabilia is prohibited.

This event isn’t taking place. It was originally listed on the publisher’s website as one of the book signing dates, but was removed and the venue has confirmed it’s not taking place there.
Tickets are available at Village Books or on Eventbrite (standard taxes and fees apply), and are $35 for one person which includes a copy of Acid for the Children OR $45 for two people and one copy of Acid for the Children.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and this show is likely to sell out so please arrive well before 7pm!
I thought I couldn’t respect and admire Flea more than I already did, then this book was released. It’s absolutely amazing. I’m literally reading it while fiddling with my Fender Flea signature Jazz bass and going from laughter to tears with such honest, open hearted book of memoirs.
Any possiblity on the book signing tour extending to Europe? I’d be first in line in Berlin!
