Red Hot Benefit Comedy, Music + Quinceanera

As I’ve not posted on this yet and I’m playing catch up from my holiday running around LA and various other places in western USA, here goes…

Chad Smith and Will Ferrell are teaming up again this time to host a “Red Hot Benefit Comedy, Music + Quinceanera” (and if you were wondering what a ‘quinceanera’ is as I was, apparently it’s a celebration of a girl’s fifteenth birthday in parts of Latin America and elsewhere in Latin American communities… OK!). It takes place on 29th April, 2016, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Beneficiaries include Cancer for College and The Silverlake Conservatory of Music. It will include a performance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers! Devo has been also been added to the bill along with comedians Jim Gaffigan and Nick Offerman

Cancer for College is a charity started by a friend of Will  Ferrell and as most of you know, The Silverlake Conservatory of Music is a non-profit organisation promoting music education and was the brainchild of RHCP’s very own Flea (with other members of RHCP being involved along the way too).
