Cliff Martinez & Far Cry 4 Soundtrack

Far-Cry-4Ex-RHCP drummer Cliff Martinez has worked on the team producing the soundtrack to the game Far Cry 4.

“It was an honor to be asked to write the music for the Far Cry 4 game as my first full-length video game soundtrack. It was exciting for me to be asked to take my usual minimalistic cinematic approach to the immersive game world. Any game where you can ride on a rampaging elephant is a project you can’t turn down!” Martinez said in a statement.

 

Far Cry 4’s soundtrack reportedly became available digitally on Tuesday, November 4. A limited edition 2-CD version of the soundtrack will also be available as soon as Tuesday, December 2, according to Amazon US. It’ll also be available on Amazon UK on Monday, December 8. A 3-LP edition of the soundtrack is also promised for January, 2015.

FarCry 4 is slated to release on Tuesday, November 18 in North America and Europe for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Source
