The cover art for the red Hot Chili Peppers’ new album, I’m With You, has been revealed today by RHCP.com. It features a fly on a pill and is by British artist Damien Hirst. Here it is:
It could mean no more drugs, so instead of being ‘out of it’ I’m with you, or, all the little beads inside the pill respresent people/friends/fans who are supportive, so no need for drugs anymore and the fly signifies this, as they are partial to laying their eggs on things that are dead. Maybe it just means drugs make you fly! Hey, I’m no art critic! 😀
it could simply mean that drugs/pill are shit and flys land on shit? lol just a thought
