RHCP’s Greatest Hits included on an imports section.RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS

Greatest Hits

As is often the case, not a greatest hits at all, but a compilation from a band’s output on one label, usually after they have moved on. Here, the 10 tracks are from the Hollywood rock funksters’ EMI years (pre-BloodSugarSexMagik), before the Chili Peppers had grown into a real cash crop via Under The Bridge and Give It Away. Even so, the tracks here, taken from their first four albums, are arguably not the best available from those records, and the compilation (although the music itself is mostly deserving) is nothing like as comprehensive as 1992’s 18-track What Hits?! effort.
